Eid al-Fitr on Sunday!

Assalamu alaikum. We hope and pray that everyone has had a blessed Ramadan in these strange times.
The moon was NOT sighted on Friday night, which means that Sunday, May 24th, will be Eid al-Fitr. We wish everyone an early Eid Mubarak!
Please keep in mind that due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the masjid is still temporarily closed, and as such there will be no Eid prayer at the masjid on this coming Eid al-Fitr. We wish this wasn’t the case, but unfortunately the current situation leaves us no other choice.

However, although we can’t have our usual congregational prayer at the masjid, we do have an event planned to mark the occasion. The Eid Drive-Thru will be a quick trip through the masjid parking lot where you’ll be able to pick up treats for adults and children while remaining in your car. It will take place on Sunday.
